What is Coasteering?
Coasteering pits you against nature, with the physically challenging combination of swimming, jumping, and climbing along the coast. If you can’t swim around it, you climb it. Amphibious Assault
“Assault” the coast. We even have a course you can take that combines coasteering with a water slide, a cargo net, and crawling through dark caves. You can end the whole activity being dragged behind a jet ski – doesn’t that sound great? Actually, this course is safe and fun, and one of our more popular activities for kid parties. Different age and ability groups are welcome.
Varieties of Activities
If 3 strenuous activities – climbing, jumping, and swimming – seem to be a little more than you want to invest in your event, you can sign you and your group up for rafting, jet ski rides, and inflatable rides. Heck, we’ll even teach you campfire cooking! Any outdoor activity you can plan can be convenient when you book through Active Escape. We carry all of the equipment you need for kayaking, jet skiing, hiking, and surfing. We also have the safety equipment you need.
Surfing
Surfing deserves its own category in the list of activities. We will provide you with the wet suit and lessons to get you onto the surf. Surfing has evolved into a sport that anyone can enjoy, regardless of age and abilities. Surf boards are now made in various lengths and widths for various purposes, offering stability and great flotation.
Lodging
Your busy holiday with us is even more convenient because we provide lodging, too. You can select from the comfortable chalets and apartments at Watermouth Cove, or you can rent a caravan or even camp out with our tents. The incredible scenery that surrounds Watermouth Cove is a worthy destination all on its own, but your quick and ready access to adventure is even better.
Family
This area is complete with swimming pools, a play area, a clubhouse, and a shop, along with the coves and caves. The private beach is popular with families and couples alike, and the rugged areas of the coast are perfect for coasteering.
