Coastal Adventure Challenge

This is a great activity for families and groups of friends

Explore the wreckers route around the dramitic and rugged coastline of Lee bay. This low tide adventure takes you through the exposed depths of rocks and gullies.  Scramble the rocks to get to secluded hidden beaches with dramitic cliffs.

After the twists and turns through the laberenth of rocks and caves you'll get to rock jump into the pools and sea.  To make it a true coastal adventure you'll get to light your own fire with flint and steel to cook some tasty treats over.

Although the Coastal Adventure Chanllenge has many simular aspects to coasteering, this is a less adreniline activity and more about expolring and adventure.

If you have been thinking about coasteering but are not too keen on the big jumps and sea swims then this is the activity for you.

Minimum age: 8 years old

Participants aged 8 - 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the activity. Any participants aged 12 - 18 must have an adult present at Lee Bay (but they need not take part).

If following the postcode, continue down the road after the 'destination' to the sea front where you'll find a free public carpark.  If this car park is full there are more spaces in the village hall car park which is a 4min walk away.  The village hall car park requires a donation for parking and is situated next to the lovely cafe, where you can get you after activity drinks and food from.

This activity takes place at Lee Bay, situated between Woolacombe and Ilfrcombe.  It's our favouroit spot due to the little hidden coves to explore and it is off the beaten track from the more popular beaches. Your adventure starts when your turn off the main road, so be prepared for driving down some propper Devon lanes!

We're only a short 15-25 minute drive from popular holiday destinations like Croyde and Woolacombe

We used to run activities in Croyde, around the Baggy Point headland. It can be an amazing location for extreme sports, but is very tide and swell-dependent and due to the fact that we had to share the route with lots of other companies, we now use the picturesque route around Hele Bay, which is only a 25 minute drive from Croyde.

'I have personally organised many hen parties in many locations and nothing compares to the Adventure Activity here! The obstacle course and paddle rafting was incredible, everyone in the party had an amazing time. We had a diverse group age range from 24 to 67 and everyone really enjoyed'
