Why Choose Us?

What’s your Escape plan?

Modern life can be stressful. Too many emails, mobile phones and traffic jams. Luckily for you, we have the perfect Escape plan.

How does leaping, diving, splashing, swimming, climbing, laughing, screaming and scrambling sound instead?

So come with us, and tell modern life to do one...

We can do it all. So you can too.

Here on our own stunning private coastline in north devon, Active Escape can offer you as much or as little as you want to do: coasteering, rafting, surfing, assault courses, SUPing, kayaking, abseiling, zip lining and more.

Our outdoor activity experts focus on maximum thrill for minimum skill. We know how to do it all so you don’t have to!

Your very own cove

We’re lucky enough to have our beautiful adventure playground all to ourselves.

At our base in Watermouth Cove we’ve caves and cliffs, gullies and glorious beaches galore, and we’re the only people there so there’s no queues, no crowds, no waiting around.

It’s just us. And the occasional visit from the local dolphins and seals.

Top kit, top facilities

Our highly-experienced team will put you through your paces and have you handling our top-notch kit like seasoned professionals.

At Active Escape we think our activities are hardcore enough – the rest of it shouldn’t be a challenge as well. ‘Extreme’ toilets are overrated. So we’ve ample parking, comfortable changing facilities, loos, hot showers and a bar and café on site.

It means that after you’ve spent an hour or two in the wet stuff, you can clean up and enjoy a pint or two and a plate of hot food. You’ll be hungry, we promise!

We’re famous (sort of)

Our stretch of breathtaking private coastline is rumoured to have been the inspiration for Enid Blyton’s adventure stories. You’ll see why when you come.
