Places to paddle

We run our guided Stand Up Paddleboard sessions from Lee bay, which is rugged and beautiful.  In the right conditions Lee bay has stunningly clear waters and enough hidden beaches to keep the most ardent adventurer happy. This bay is sheltered from any southerly, southwesterly and easterly winds.

Hele Bay is another great spot for paddling around and is the location for our Coasteering sessions.  This bay is in easy reach of a car park and has a nice gentle sloping beach to the water.  This bay is sheltered from any southerly, southwesterly and easterly winds.

Combe Martin Is another great cove to paddle out of.  There are lots of sheltered inlets around this bay with some amazing little hidden beaches.  This bay is sheltered from any southerly and southwesterly winds.

In the right conditions all our beaches and coves can be amazingly plesent and peacful.  However this it the UK and we are on the Bristol channel which has the 2nd biggest tidal range in the world.  Therefore on certain tides the water can move incredable fast and everything can change in a instant.  We therefore advise that you ask our advise on the best beaches/coves to paddle from at the time of your booking.  This way we'll know what the tides are doing and the weather conditions for that period.  Its all about having fun and staying safe.
