An adventure we guarantee you've never done before!
This half day activity will see you exploring the stunning North Devon coastline, coasteering and paddleboarding your way to local foraging spots to gather edible seaweed among other coastal treats. We'll then make a small fire to toast up these local delicacies!
To begin, you'll head out with one of our instructors and take on parts of our coasteer course around the beautiful Watermouth Cove to see what seaweed the North Devon coast has to offer.
After a short break, we'll be heading back out for more foraging, this time on paddleboards. If you've never been paddleboarding before, don't worry! Our instructors will teach you the basics on paddleboarding before you head out.
Over the course of the day, you'll hopefully find Bladderwrack Seaweed, known for its medicinal properties and salty fish-like tastes; and, the rich in vitamins and minerals, Rock Samphire typically served alongside fish in local restaurants; and hopefully much more!
Once you've foraged the local area for seaweed, you'll get the chance to sample the coastal treats you've gathered. We'll make a small fire with flint and steel to toast up the seaweed (along with a few extras), so get ready to channel you inner Bear Grylls because you're going to be the ones making the fire!
If high adrenaline activities aren't your thing, then don't worry, we have a variety of jumps at different heights, so don't let that put you off becuase it's a truly unique experience that is one for the bucket list!
